Cepat Kredit Financing Inc. was inducted as a new member of the Philippine Finance Association (PFA) last December 14, 2023 during the association’s Christmas party.

The membership marks another step into the financing company’s young yet impressive history towards helping working Filipinos here and abroad with their financing needs through personal loans. This also solidifies Cepat Kredit’s intent as a trusted financing company by actively positioning itself in organizations or initiatives that promote financial innovation, inclusivity, and economic growth.

“One of the bigger benefits that Cepat will gain from the PFA membership is to become more in the know when it comes to regulatory matters.” Jeno Zarate, president and CEO of Cepat Kredit shared. 

Being up to date with regulations imposed by government entities in the business and financing sector will not only benefit the company operations-wise, but also build its credibility.

“Legit tayo!” Zarate earnestly exclaimed, “There are clients who are hesitant to engage with companies who’s doing almost everything online or the primary communication tool is online. This should help us in showing our clients that they’re talking to a legitimate company in a recognized financing institution.”

Zarate also stressed that as an online loan provider, the PFA membership will give clients the comfort that their data is secured, and all processes and systems of the company are in accordance with the rules and regulations set by the regulatory bodies.

He further said that Cepat could eventually help in “forming the financing landscape of the country” if given the opportunity to become more active in the PFA.

Established in 1962, the PFA now has more than 90 members composed of businesses and associations in the leasing, banking, and fintech industries. It provides an avenue for its members to learn from each other through various forums, access to databases and registries such as the Bankers Association of the Philippines – Credit Bureau (BAP-CB)’s Negative File Information System (NFIS), and it liaises between its members and regulatory bodies of the government, among others.

Apart from offering OFW loan and seafarer loan, Cepat Kredit Financing Inc. also offers motorcycle loan and sangla motor o tricycle. The company aims to open 15 more branches by the end of 2024 to widen its physical presence across the country.
